Foreign Minister and National Human Rights Committee chairman Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani praised Bahrain’s diplomatic achievements and role in promoting peace, dialogue and international solidarity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
In a statement on Bahrain Diplomatic Day, Dr Al Zayani highlighted the kingdom’s pride in its longstanding legacy of constructive diplomacy, characterised by moderation, openness and prioritising dialogue to achieve global security, stability and prosperity.
Dr Al Zayani underscored Bahrain’s commitment to building relations with nations worldwide based on mutual respect, international law, shared human values and international legitimacy principles. He said the kingdom’s prioritised advancing the progress of the GCC as a model of unity and integration, ensuring regional security and stability, and contributing to sustainable and just solutions for global conflicts, including reaching a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the provision of humanitarian aid.
