Registration is now open for Bahrain’s largest consumer exhibition that starts next week at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir.
The 35th edition of Autumn Fair is scheduled to be held from January 23 to February 1.
The popular fair represents a unique shopping festival with more than 608 pavilions from 20 participating countries.
Exhibitors will offer a variety of products including textiles, furniture, food, clothing, electronics, electrical goods, accessories, cosmetics, decoration, home supplies and much more, reflecting the diversity of the retail sector in the kingdom.
“The Autumn Fair is considered one of the main events on the agenda of exhibitions held at the Exhibition World Bahrain,” said Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority chief executive and Bahrain International Exhibition Centre board chairman Sara Buhijji.
“The exhibition annually attracts a distinctive group of vendors with international products, enjoying a large turnout from visitors, highlighting the key shopping and retail industry in Bahrain.”
Ms Buhijji indicated that this year’s edition will include more unique shopping opportunities, in addition to entertainment events and programmes that will contribute to creating new family experiences adding a distinctive character to the experience of visitors of the exhibition.
Informa Markets general manager Mohammed Ibrahim said they were proud to organise the 10-day event providing new and attractive shopping opportunities for visitors.
This year, there will be various accompanying entertainment activities, where visitors will have the chance to enjoy a family entertainment segment with the beloved character “Dabdoob”.
The “Dabdoob” event for children will be held daily from 6pm to 7pm, with prizes and gifts being distributed among the visitors, in addition to taking souvenir photos with children and families.
A food court will be equipped with 10 restaurants and cafés to serve the visitors, adding an entertainment dimension and a complete shopping experience.
The exhibition will be open for visitors in two periods, from 10am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10 pm.
The exhibition hours will be extended on January 31 and February 1.
The morning period of January 26 and 27 will be dedicated only to women, to ensure a comfortable and private experience.
