His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, accompanied by members of the official delegation and Oman’s Minister of Interior, Humood bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Head of the Honour Mission, visited the Royal Opera House in Muscat as part of his state visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
Upon arrival, HM King Hamad was received by Nasser bin Mahmood Al Kindi, Secretary General of the Royal Court Affairs, and Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd Al Said, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers.
During the visit, HM King Hamad toured the Royal Opera House and explored its various facilities and sections.
HM the King was also briefed on the nature of performances hosted throughout the year and the state-of-the-art equipment utilized for world-class musical productions.
As part of the tour, HM King Hamad visited the main theatre and other sections of the Opera House and recognized its architectural sophistication, which combines Omani cultural heritage with architectural influences from across the globe.
HM the King also noted the Opera House's role in the cultural sector, offering distinguished classical arts and music. The visit included musical performances, further showcasing the venue's artistic excellence.
In his written remarks in the visitors’ book, HM King Hamad expressed great honor and privilege in visiting the Royal Opera House in Muscat, describing it as a magnificent cultural and artistic landmark that embodies the rich cultural identity, creativity, and innovation of the Sultanate of Oman.
