The Bahrain Chamber yesterday hosted an Indian business delegation led by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) president Girish Luthra. Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass highlighted the long-standing relationship between Bahrain and India, noting trade volume surpassed $1.1 billion in 2023.
He emphasised the potential for further enhancing business relations and fostering joint ventures.
Second vice-chairman Mohammed Al Kooheji reiterated the chamber’s commitment to enhancing collaboration with India.
Mr Luthra praised the robust India-Bahrain relationship and identified finance, food, jewellery, and defence manufacturing as promising sectors.
