BBK reaffirmed its commitment to women’s empowerment by sponsoring the ‘Global Women Economic Forum and Exhibition,’ organised by the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society (BBS) last week.
The event, held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty King Hamad and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) president, celebrated the BBS’s 25th anniversary.
This sponsorship aligns with BBK’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focus on empowering women and recognising their vital role in societal development. The bank actively supports initiatives that enhance women’s economic participation and promote gender equality.
BBK was honoured by the BBS for its significant contribution to the forum, with BBK assistant general manager of human resources and equal opportunities committee chairperson Najwa Al Ahmad accepting an award on behalf of the bank.
BBK Türkiye signed an MoU with the BBS to foster female entrepreneurship and facilitate trade between Bahrain and Türkiye.
