Manama: The Bahraini Identity Forum has begun accepting research papers and studies until March 31. The forum, set for May, aims to promote national belonging, community partnership, cultural heritage preservation, and innovative national initiatives.
Yousif Mohammed Al Binkhalil, Executive Committee Chairman, emphasised the forum’s support for research on national identity. He said that submissions must be in Arabic, authored by Bahraini academics, researchers, or university students, and address themes such as cultural heritage, institutional roles, and promoting Bahrain’s identity internationally.
He noted that participation is open to Bahrainis aged 21 and above, with papers required to be original and unpublished. Each researcher can submit one paper, including group submissions through Bahraini research centres, focusing on practical projects and future initiatives.
Applicants must complete the "Bahrainouna" platform form or email submissions, including a CV, academic details, and contact information. Papers must be submitted in Word and PDF formats.
All submissions will undergo scientific review for originality, quality, and relevance, and the committee reserves the right to make necessary editorial changes. Accepted researchers will be notified with presentation details.
Papers must meet criteria, including 4,000–5,000 words, proper referencing and documentation, and a 250-word abstract. Details are available at www.bahrainouna.com or via the dedicated email.
