His Majesty King Hamad last night sent a cable of congratulations to Donald Trump on the occasion of his inauguration as President of the United States of America.
In his message, His Majesty extended his heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes to President Trump, wishing him success in leading the US toward greater progress, prosperity and advancement.
He also expressed his deep pride in the long-standing and historic ties that unite Bahrain and the US, underscoring the solid foundations and strong pillars upon which their partnership is built, as well as the mutual respect and enduring friendship shared between their peoples.
His Majesty reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the strategic relationship.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent a cable of congratulations to President Trump.
He wished President Trump success in carrying out his duties and leading the American people towards further progress and prosperity.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his pride in the strength of the Bahrain-US strategic partnership, which is based on the historic relations between the countries that unites their peoples.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also sent a similar cable to James Vance on taking the constitutional oath as Vice President.
