An educational tour for students of Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS) was recently organised by Ebrahim K Kanoo (EKK) Training and Marketing department.
The visit aimed at providing an in-depth look into the company’s operations at the Toyota Plaza Service Centre in Tubli.
The students participated in a variety of interactive tasks aimed at knowledge-testing, team-building and hands-on demonstration of technical equipment. They also took part in an immersive virtual reality session showcasing state-of-the-art denting and painting techniques.
“We believe in empowering the next generation by giving them real-world insights and hands-on experiences,” said a Toyota Service spokesperson.
“By engaging with these bright young minds, we hope to inspire their passion for innovation and equip them with knowledge about hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as future technologies such as clean hydrogen-powered cars.
“This will enable them to confidently explore and contribute to the automotive industry’s evolving landscape.”
The students were first given a guided tour of the Toyota Commercial Centre and its sections, including body and paint, service and the washing bay for commercial vehicles.
They also explored different types of commercial vehicles on display. The attendees also visited the reception areas and workshops for both Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
The visit concluded at the Toyota Spare Parts Centre in Salmabad, where students had a first-hand look at the advanced storage system at the warehouse, which contains more than 50,000 spare parts.
As a token of appreciation from EKK, giveaways were also distributed.
