Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa stressed Bahrain’s commitment to global partnership and collective work to achieve common goals and promote customs policies.
Marking the International Customs Day, which is observed on January 26, the Interior Minister underscored the need to develop customs work and enhance its contribution to national economies as well as the investment and trade movement in the world.
“Bahrain has laid solid foundations and sound practices in this respect through its customs policies, which has consolidated its pioneering role at the regional and international level,” he said.
General Shaikh Rashid praised the Customs Affairs’ performance and professionalism to streamline services and drive sustainable economic growth.
