A special promotion to mark the Indian Republic Day celebrations kicked off at the LuLu Hypermarket.
Indian Ambassador Vinod Jacob inaugurated the colourful ‘India Utsav’ in the presence of Bahrain Chamber second vice-chairman Mohammed Al Kooheji and Bahrain India Society chairman Abdulrahman Juma at its branch in Dana Mall, Sanabis.
The guests were welcomed by LuLu Group International director Juzer Rupawala.
The event kicked off on Thursday and will run until February 3 with great offers on Indian products such as 24Mantra Organic, Natureland Organic and Bikaji.

In addition, the promotion covers Indian Basmati rice, grains, pickles, oil, tea and snacks and a whole new line of ready-to-eat processed foods.

He further commended the role of the LuLu Group in promoting Bahrain-India commercial ties.
Exotic Indian fruits such as custard apple and various vegetables such as plantain, yam and different types of Indian squash will be on special promotion.
All these will be available in the ‘Little India @ LuLu’ space within the hypermarket.
There is also a promotional discount on kitchen appliances made in India with leading brands ‘Butterfly’ and ‘Meenumix’ offering great deals.
