Padel Plus Academy has made history in Bahrain’s sports scene, with its Girls Under-14 team winning the country’s first-ever FIP trophy at the FIP Promises tournament in Qatar. Bahraini rising stars Kenzy Abdelaal and Layal Alzakari proudly represented Bahrain and secured this landmark achievement in their debut international competition.
The FIP Promises tournament is a prestigious international event that showcases young padel talents from around the world. Despite fierce competition, Kenzy and Layal displayed exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination, solidifying their place among the region’s top young padel athletes.
Ehsan Jamsheer, managing partner at Padel Plus Academy, expressed immense pride in the achievement, stating: "This victory is a historic milestone for Bahrain's padel community. The young champions themselves were thrilled with their historic achievement. Kenzy Abdelaal shared her excitement, saying: "Winning Bahrain’s first FIP trophy is a dream come true. Her teammate, Layal Alzakari, echoed the sentiment: "We are so proud to bring this victory home. This experience has motivated us to keep pushing our limits and train even harder.
