His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova at Gudaibiya Palace.
The meeting took place as part of Minister Lyubimova’s visit to inaugurate the Russian Seasons in Bahrain.
HRH Prince Salman affirmed the importance of the Russian Seasons, which is held in Bahrain as part of several cultural agreements between the two countries that aim to consolidate Bahraini-Russian relations across various fields, especially in the cultural and arts sectors.
He affirmed the long-standing Bahrain-Russia relations, built upon a history of multi-sectoral collaboration.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral ties through agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at achieving shared goals.
HRH Prince Salman welcomed the Russian minister to Bahrain and conveyed his greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and wished Russia further progress and prosperity.
For her part, Minister Lyubimova expressed her gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) board of directors chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
