Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are stepping up their efforts to achieve shared goals and aspirations, His Majesty King Hamad has said.
He highlighted the vital role of the Saudi-Bahraini Co-ordination Council, chaired by the Crown Princes of both countries, in advancing co-ordination across various sectors, including media, culture, tourism, investment, economy and development.
The King also expressed pride at the deep-rooted bilateral relations as he received Saudi Arabian Media Minister Salman bin Yousef Al Dosari yesterday.
The Saudi minister is in Bahrain to chair the Saudi delegation at the fourth meeting of the Co-ordination Committee on Culture, Media, Tourism and Social Development, established under the Saudi-Bahraini Co-ordination Council.
The minister conveyed to His Majesty the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. His Majesty relayed his greetings to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, wishing the Saudi people further progress and prosperity.
The King welcomed the Saudi media minister and wished success for the co-ordination committee meeting in strengthening co-operation.
He reaffirmed commitment to their continuous development at all levels for the benefit of both countries.
His Majesty commended the efforts of King Salman in strengthening relations and underscored Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support for Bahrain and its people.
The Saudi Media Minister expressed appreciation for His Majesty’s ongoing support in strengthening the strong bonds between the two countries and their peoples.
