Interior Minister and head of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communications Technology General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received the Interior Ministry finalists in the sixth edition of the Government Innovation Competition (Fikra).
The Deputy Public Security Chief and the assistant under-secretary for human resources attended the meeting.
The Interior Minister congratulated the finalists, stressing that their creative projects reflect the spirit of innovation and development as well as keenness on serving the nation under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad.
General Shaikh Rashid commended the initiative launched by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to promote innovation among government employees and improve services. He stressed ongoing development across all sectors at the Interior Ministry, pointing out the need to continue enhancing security performance to protect the nation.
Among the qualified ideas are the “Hayat Plus” application, presented by Major Hamad Sabah Al Siwar and Major Salem Sabah Al Siwar, and “Amaan” by Major Dr Musaab Ali Al Khalidi, Captain Aisha Salah Al Yasi, Captain Abdulrahman Al Khaja and Captain Haya Nabil Al Mahmeed.
