The Sri Lankan Embassy has appealed for help in finding the next of kin of a runaway domestic worker who is currently in a critical condition at the Salmaniya Medical Complex intensive care unit.
In a post on social media, it has urged members of the Sri Lanka community to assist in the matter as limited information is available on Seynambo Majeed.
Her passport and CPR details have been found in the mission’s database but there are no registration details with the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.
Relevant authorities in Sri Lanka have been informed to obtain more details, and an internal process is underway to find her next of kin in Sri Lanka.
