The 35th edition of the Autumn Fair concluded with significant success, attracting 206,467 visitors, an increase of 62.68% compared to 2023. The exhibition, held over 10 days at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), featured over 600 exhibitors from 20 countries, offering a diverse range of products and services.
Sarah Ahmed Buhijji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), highlighted the role of Exhibition World Bahrain in providing enhanced opportunities for exhibitors and visitors. She noted the strong turnout from citizens, residents, and GCC visitors, underscoring the fair’s status as a leading commercial and entertainment event in the region.
Buhijji underscored that the success of the Autumn Fair reflects Bahrain’s strategic role in hosting major exhibitions and events, reinforcing its position as a key destination for exhibitions and conferences. She attributed this achievement to the collaboration between the public and private sectors in advancing Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
Buhijji commended the efforts of Informa Markets in contributing to the fair’s success, noting the unprecedented visitor numbers and the exhibition’s impact on the retail and tourism sectors. She expressed appreciation to exhibitors, organisers, and supporting entities for their role in ensuring the success of this annual event.
Mohamed Ibrahim, General Manager of Informa Markets Bahrain, described this year’s edition as a milestone, with over 200,000 attendees, marking a significant achievement in the fair’s 35-year history. He emphasised the growing appeal of the platform, which brings together businesses, cultures, and communities, and expressed Informa Markets’ commitment to sustaining this momentum in future editions.
Visitors commended the diverse shopping experience, with a wide range of high-quality goods from various countries. They also commended the advanced services that facilitated their visit, along with the entertainment activities that enhanced the fair’s appeal as a premier shopping and tourism destination.
