His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates, at Al Safriya Palace during his official visit to Bahrain.
Dr. Abdelatty conveyed to HM the King the greetings of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, wishing the Kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity.
HM the King relayed his greetings to HE President El Sisi, wishing progress, and prosperity for Egypt and its people.
HM King Hamad highlighted the deep-rooted Bahrain-Egypt ties, noting the mutual commitment to strengthening relations and enhancing cooperation to serve mutual interests.
HM the King highlighted the importance of such visits in enhancing cooperation, consultation, and coordination between the two countries, particularly in light of the current developments in the region.
HM the King commended the efforts of HE President El Sisi in strengthening Bahrain-Egypt relations and commended Egypt’s role in supporting joint Arab action, safeguarding the interests of the Arab nation, and promoting peace, security, and stability in the region.
The meeting addressed regional and international developments of mutual interest, particularly the latest Middle East developments, and exchanged views on them.
On his part, Dr. Abdelatty expressed his appreciation to HM the King for the warm reception and hospitality.
He commended HM the King’s role in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
