Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr Mohammed Bin Daina inaugurated the awareness exhibition accompanying the sustainable water national campaign, launched in October in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) under the theme ‘Every Drop Tells a Story.’ The event coincides with National Environment Day on February 4.
Dr Bin Daina emphasised the importance of raising awareness about greywater reuse. He noted that water conservation is a shared responsibility requiring collective efforts to ensure sustainability for future generations.

The minister commended the organisers and participants, highlighting that environmental awareness is key to sustainable development. He urged the public to adopt responsible water consumption practices and promote conservation awareness.
The exhibition introduces the campaign’s objectives and highlights innovative water conservation solutions, particularly greywater reuse. It includes a dedicated children’s section with educational games and interactive activities to instill water sustainability concepts in an engaging and simplified manner.
