The Shura Council services committee yesterday received German MP Dr Anja Reinalter, in the presence of German Ambassador Clemens Hach, to discuss legislative co-operation, parliamentary exchanges and key sectors such as education and healthcare.
The committee, chaired by Dr Jameela Al Salman, highlighted the importance of strengthening Bahrain-Germany parliamentary relations to enhance legislative expertise and promote parliamentary diplomacy.
Discussions covered agreements in customs, economy, security and aviation, along with Germany’s International Parliamentary Scholarships for Arab countries.
