Parliament Speaker Ahmed praised Bahrain and Türkiye’s commitment to supporting regional peace efforts, highlighting the creation of the Bahraini National Committee to oversee the Bahrain Summit initiatives and the co-ordination for Arab integration and co-operation in various fields.
Mr Al Musallam was addressing a Press conference along with Türkiye’s Grand National Assembly president Numan Kurtulmus on the parliamentary delegation’s visit to Türkiye.
The Speaker emphasised the importance of enhancing co-ordination with countries, as well as local, regional and international entities to achieve lasting peace.
In another move, Mr Al Musallam and Mr Kurtulmus signed a co-operation protocol between the two sides.
The protocol is part of efforts to uphold shared cultural values, strengthen ties between Bahrain and Türkiye and enhance collaboration between the Parliament and the Grand National Assembly.
The protocol aims to enhance co-operation across all domains, strengthening institutional work and international collaboration based on bilateral relations.
