Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) vice-president and Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) vice-president for the third Asian Youth Games Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was in attendance yesterday in the opening ceremony of the eighth Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China.
BOC secretary general Faris Al Kooheji was also on hand.
The multi-sport event features nearly 1,300 athletes from 34 countries.
Bahrain are taking part with a men’s ice hockey team, who participated in yesterday’s traditional parade of national teams held as part of the inauguration.
