SHOWJUMPING – The Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) is set to hold the Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa International Showjumping Championship at the Military Sports Association field from tomorrow until Saturday.
The championship is to be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Breef president Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa thanked Shaikh Nasser for supporting the event. He noted that the championship marks a significant milestone in the federation’s showjumping competitions.
Shaikh Isa added that Breef is committed to implementing Shaikh Nasser’s vision for developing equestrian sports in Bahrain and ensuring the success of the two-star showjumping championship in all aspects.
Breef showjumping committee head Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Khalifa highlighted the importance of Shaikh Nasser’s patronage, which makes this event one of the season’s most anticipated championships.
He emphasised the high level of competition across all events, noting that the committee is working under the guidance of Shaikh Isa to ensure a well-organised and competitive championship.
Shaikh Abdulla commended the support of sponsors, including Bapco Energies, the diamond sponsor; Binayeh and Al Salam Bank, the platinum sponsors; STC and CSS, the gold sponsors; Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the silver sponsor; and BBK, the Economic Development Board (EDB), Bahrain Marina, and Dr Nael Al Hazeem Medical Centre, the bronze sponsors.
