Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has underlined the importance of investing in the human capital, being the catalyst of sustainable economic growth.
He pointed out Bahrain’s achievements in this regard thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad for the young national competencies.
This came during the minister’s participation in the Young Arab Leaders Forum held in Dubai under the patronage of its Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Shaikh Salman affirmed the prominent role played by the youth in driving economic growth, pointing out the continuous directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to further empower them, tap on their potentials, develop their skills and engage them in decision-making.
The minister commended the youth’s diverse capabilities to adapt to various circumstances and convert challenges into opportunities. He also praised their spirit of creativity and innovation and their ability to bring about numerous accomplishments across multiple sectors.
Shaikh Salman also participated in the ninth Arab Fiscal Forum in Dubai, which was opened by the UAE State Minister for Financial Affairs Mohammed bin Hadi Al Hussaini.
The minister was received by UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Dubai Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Defence Minister and honorary president of the young Arab leaders Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
