A NEW romantic single brought alive by Bahrain-based talents is set to drop today, coinciding with Valentine’s Day, writes Melissa Nazareth.
Aise Hi (‘just like that’ in Hindi) will premiere at EPIX Cinemas in Dana Mall, Sanabis and be released on multiple platforms including Spotify, Amazon and YouTube Music.
“A staycation that my wife and I went on stood out for me. We had such a great time together that we didn’t want it to end, and that’s what inspired the idea for the track,” lead singer and guitarist Shelin Chacko told GDN.
The 34-year-old director also features in the video alongside fellow artists: female lead vocalist Lekha Rajan, bass guitarist Deron Desusa, drummer Sayonji Simon, violinist and cellist Ryan, keyboardist Kevin Francis, and guitarist and track composer Abhimanyu Saharajan.
Media professional Abhirami Saharajan and corporate executive Anandu play love interests.
“It took us a week to film across locations in Bahrain, including Sakhir, Zallaq and Budaiya,” the marketing executive, who has been living in Bahrain for the last 10 years with wife Christy Mary Joseph, added.
“We’re grateful to IBP Group chair John Xavier, who met us during a past performance. He liked our work and agreed to produce this song.”
The song is one of five that appear on the album ‘Road Pe’ (on the road), set to be released this year.
