A RUNAWAY domestic worker who was critically ill and receiving treatment at Salmaniya Medical Complex’s intensive care unit died yesterday.
No other details of Sri Lankan Seynambo Majeed were available.
The GDN had reported on February 1 that the Sri Lankan Embassy was seeking help in finding her relatives after she was admitted to hospital for an undisclosed condition.
Though the mission could locate her passport and CPR details from its database, limited information was available on her.
Yesterday, in a social media post announcing Ms Majeed’s death, the embassy thanked the community in helping find her next of kin.
