His Majesty King Hamad, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam, Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh and Supreme Judicial Council deputy chairman and Cassation Court president Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa at Sakhir Palace on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the adoption of the National Action Charter.
The officials extended their congratulations to the King. They commended the kingdom’s progress under His Majesty’s leadership and highlighted Bahrain’s achievements across all sectors.
They also noted the kingdom’s distinguished reputation and respected standing on the international stage, attributing these accomplishments to the King’s vision and policies.
His Majesty thanked them and emphasised that the National Action Charter remains a foundation for Bahrain’s development, supporting democratic and economic progress in line with the aspirations of the Bahraini people.
His Majesty praised the contributions of the legislative authority in advancing national development, preserving achievements and safeguarding national interests. He also praised the judiciary’s role in upholding justice, equality and the protection of rights and freedoms.
The King underscored the importance of continued co-ordination between the executive and legislative authorities to serve the kingdom and its people and support Bahrain’s comprehensive development goals.
