Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca) president Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO) director general Dr Salim bin Mohammed Al Malik, on the sidelines of the 13th Conference of Ministers of Culture in the Islamic World in Jeddah. They discussed means to enhance cultural co-operation, support joint projects and implement programmes aimed at preserving Islamic heritage and advancing cultural and intellectual engagement among member states. Both sides highlighted the importance of the partnership between Baca and ICESCO in showcasing the Islamic world’s civilisational achievements among nations.
