Public Security Chief Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan chaired the meeting of the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) Scientific Council.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief of Public Security Major General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Commander of RAP Major General Fawaz Al Hassan.
Lt Gen Al Hassan highlighted the important role of RAP in preparing and training security personnel to the highest standards.
He directed the introduction of a Master’s programme in digital forensics and information analysis to enhance the capabilities of security personnel.
