Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) board of directors chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has affirmed the importance of investing in Bahrainis. He emphasised that this is key to ensuring a prosperous future for Bahrain.
Shaikh Isa reiterated the kingdom’s commitment to upskilling Bahraini citizens, fostering their development through training programmes and equipping them with the necessary resources and capabilities.
He met Vinay Hebbar, Corporate Learning and International Markets head and a member of the executive committee at Harvard Business Publishing; Caroline Wright, vice president for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Harvard Business Publishing; and chief executive of Tamkeen Maha Mofeez.
Shaikh Isa highlighted the support extended to the national workforce by His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, through harnessing all resources and opportunities to upskill and enhance their professional growth.
He was then briefed on the progress plan of the Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning Leadership Skills Programme, one of the programmes launched under Tamkeen’s leadership initiatives in co-operation with leading global training institutions.
Shaikh Isa emphasised the importance of continuing to adopt and implement innovative initiatives and programmes that equip Bahrainis with the necessary skills and knowledge in line with the evolving requirements of the kingdom’s vibrant labour market.
He stressed the importance of further strengthening joint co-operation with global educational institutions and bodies to support the empowerment of Bahrainis and achieve the kingdom’s desired goals and aspirations.
