Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met His Excellency Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia as part of His official visit to Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (EDB), and Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat).
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the strong ties between Bahrain and Malaysia and the steady progress in their cooperation, particularly in finance and the economy. He emphasised the importance of building on these foundations to expand collaboration that serve both countries and their peoples.
The meeting also discussed means to enhance relations and advance partnerships in key areas, reflecting the shared commitment to strengthening economic ties and fostering broader cooperation.
