On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday participated in a meeting held in Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was also attended by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Qatar Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, King Abdullah of Jordan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
During the meeting, which was held at the invitation of the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, various regional and international issues were discussed, particularly the joint efforts in support of the Palestinian cause, and developments in the Gaza Strip.
The leaders welcomed the holding of an emergency Arab summit, scheduled to be held in Cairo on March 4.
