More than 2,000 people attended the second edition of the ‘India in Bahrain’ festival that was held at Dana Mall, Sanabis.
It was organised by the Indian Embassy in association with LuLu Hypermarket Bahrain to celebrate the vibrant and diverse cultural heritage of India.
The event was inaugurated by Ambassador Vinod Jacob in the presence of LuLu retail director Juzer Rupawala.
The cultural extravaganza featured performances by members of 17 Indian community associations, showcasing an array of classical and folk performances from various regions.
A highlight of the festival was the vibrant collection of stalls, showcasing India’s rich culinary delights and exquisite handicrafts.
More than 20 community associations participated, offering authentic delicacies and handcrafted goods, providing visitors with a taste of India’s artistry and flavours.
A painting exhibition, India Through My Eyes, was also held as part of the event.
More than 20 talented artists came together to display 42 paintings that captured their unique perspectives on India’s cultural, historical, and natural beauty.
