The BNI (Business Network International) Bahrain Chapter has successfully concluded its groundbreaking two-day BINOVATE 2025 event.
Held in strategic partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation-Investment Technology Promotion Office (UNIDO-ITPO) Bahrain, the event fostered international collaboration and showcased innovation across various sectors.
It started with opening remarks from Nigerian Ambassador to Kuwait Murtala Jimoh and UNIDO-ITPO Bahrain head Dr Hashim Hussein. Keynote speakers Mohamed Al Ali and Audra Shallal delivered engaging presentations, with Ms Shallal emphasising the critical role of innovation in driving economic growth.
BINOVATE 2025 attracted participants from BNI chapters in 19 countries, creating a vibrant platform for networking and partnership building. More than 50 exhibitors showcased innovative products and services, highlighting opportunities for collaboration within Bahrain’s business community.
A panel discussion focused on the intersection of technology and financial inclusion, exploring sustainability, fintech, payments, AI, and the challenges of implementing AI in financial inclusion initiatives.
Twelve startups participated in a competitive pitch session, presenting their innovative business concepts. Temprah, a Bahraini startup developing eco-friendly cooling gear for outdoor workers in extreme temperatures, won the first prize of $1,500. Joint second place, with a prize of $750 each, was awarded to Croozz, a Bahrain-based telematics app designed to reduce accidents, and Revent, a Dubai-based tech-enabled platform for pre-owned electronics.
BINOVATE 2025 underscored Bahrain’s commitment to becoming a leading hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, paving the way for future collaborations and advancements across diverse industries.
“BINOVATE 2025 has been a tremendous success and a testament to our commitment to innovation and collaboration,” said BNI Bahrain national director Arunoday Ganguly. “We are thrilled to announce that it will become an annual event.”
