The Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) concluded its training for students taking part in the Group 26 Candidacy Programme.
The training period comprises part of the selection process for candidates applying for one of CPISP’s annual scholarships.
The CPISP team commended the hard work, dedication and performance demonstrated by students during the candidacy training, which began last summer in partnership with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF).
During the closing session, the participants received certificates of achievement to the Candidacy Programme at the BIBF.
The candidacy training included courses on academic writing and critical thinking.
Students were also given the opportunity to take part in leadership development training which included a Level 3 Certificate in Team Leading certified by the UK-based Chartered Management Institute (CMI) as well as personality and career path assessments.
As part of the course, CPISP organised guest lectures and panel discussions with qualified professionals on academic, personal development and career-related topics, as well as IELTS and SAT preparation courses for candidates.
The CPISP team affirmed the final scholarship recipients will be selected based on their Grade Point Average, their IELTS and SAT test results and scores of the leadership training and critical thinking course. Candidates will include students from public schools and private schools.
The CPISP team extended their appreciation to the ministries of Education and Information and the BIBF for their continued contribution to the programme and wished the students success.
