The Muslim Council of Elders held its 18th session in Bahrain, chaired by Al Azhar Al Sharif Grand Imam and council chairman Dr Ahmed Al Tayeb, with the participation of council members.
The participants expressed their gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad for his patronage and generous support of the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference, as well as to Bahrain’s government for its warm reception and hospitality.
They also extended their appreciation to UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continued support of the council’s global efforts to promote peace, strengthen Islamic brotherhood, and foster coexistence.
The scholars also underscored their full support for the upcoming Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference, set to be held at Al Azhar in Egypt next year.
