Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met today with Alastair Long, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the longstanding strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, underscoring the depth of their multisectoral collaboration.
He noted the Kingdom’s commitment, under the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, to further strengthening bilateral ties and achieving shared aspirations.
He underscored the development of relations between Bahrain and the UK across various sectors and the mutual commitment to advancing cooperation for the benefit of both Kingdoms.
During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral relations, issues of common interest, and regional and global developments were discussed.
Lieutenant Colonel Royal Marines Simon Cole, the Defence attacheĢ at the British Embassy, attended the meeting.
