His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received the credentials of five newly-appointed ambassadors to Bahrain during a ceremony at Sakhir Palace.
He accepted the credentials of: Tatjana Garcevic (Serbia); Dr Ayse Hilal Sayan Koytak (Türkiye); Sumate Chulajata (Thailand); Mohammad Rais Hasan Sarower (Bangladesh) and Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi (Saudi Arabia).
The King highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and their countries, noting the continuous progress and co-operation across various sectors.
He also wished them success in their diplomatic duties to further strengthen ties with Bahrain.
His Majesty underscored Bahrain’s commitment to fostering positive relations and enhancing international co-operation for mutual benefit.
On their part, the ambassadors conveyed their heads of state’s greetings and best wishes to the King.
They commended the strong ties between their countries and Bahrain and wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
The ceremony was attended by His Majesty’s Personal Representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa; National Security Adviser, Supreme Defence Council secretary general and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa; Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa; and Royal Protocol chief Major General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Fadhala.
Upon arrival, the ambassadors were received by the chief of Royal Protocol and accorded the customary formalities for such occasions.
