Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani yesterday held a telephone call with Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan.
They discussed the strong Bahrain-Malaysia relations and explored means to enhance bilateral co-operation for the benefit of both countries and their people.
The ministers highlighted the importance of the recent visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to Bahrain.
They noted its positive outcomes, which will further develop bilateral relations across various domains in a way that serves mutual interests.
They discussed the latest regional and international developments and ongoing efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East that meets the aspirations of its peoples for security and development.
They also exchanged views on issues of common interest.
