A media Iftar was hosted by the Intercontinental Bahrain at its Regency Tent to highlight its culinary offerings during the Holy Month.
Members of the media and invited guests enjoyed the culinary creations offered up by the five-star hotel’s award-winning chefs.
Amongst the new additions to this year’s Iftar and ghabga offerings are a sushi station with fresh seafood, gyro live-cooking station and Greek spanokopita, as well as a waffle station in the dessert section of the buffet.
In addition, a lavish buffet of traditional and international cuisine was served, alongside live barbecue stations.
The hotel’s general manager and the InterContinental Hotels Group’s regional general manager for Oman, Luxury and Lifestyle, Qatar and Bahrain Philipp Economou highlighted the timeless experience on offer, and invited guests to enjoy some of the classics as well as new items in the Ramadan spread.
Alongside a harpist playing soothing Arabic tones to set the mood, the Intercontinental Bahrain is offering Iftar from sunset to 8.30pm, and ghabga from 9.30pm to 1am.
This year, Intercontinental Bahrain is also offering home delivery and catering of its Ramadan menu including cold and hot mezze, soup, main course and delectable sweets.
