A top Palestinian judge has commended Bahrain’s steadfast support to the Palestinian statehood, upholding the rights of the Palestinian people, and rejecting aggression against them, in fraternal solidarity with the Palestinian people and their cause.
“Any displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip is categorically rejected under a unified Arab, Islamic and international stance. Accepting it would be considered “a liquidation of the Palestinian cause,” affirmed Palestine’s Supreme Judge, Supreme Council of Sharia Judiciary chairman and adviser to the Palestinian President on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Dr Mahmoud Al Habbash.
In an interview with our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej, Dr Al Habbash stated that the Egyptian-Palestinian plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip will proceed without the displacement of any Palestinians from the enclave.
He also underscored the importance of Hamas handing over the governance of the strip to the Palestinian Authority – first, to unify the homeland, and second, to remove any pretexts used by the Israeli occupation.
