The Labour Fund ‘Tamkeen’ has announced its support for employment and career development opportunities for local talent at Y K Almoayyed & Sons as part of its ongoing efforts to make citizens the first choice for employment in the private sector.
As part of Tamkeen’s career development programmes, 195 Bahraini employees across various roles have been supported. Additionally, 78 Bahrainis have been hired and trained through Tamkeen’s employment support programmes.

Khalid Al Bayat, chief executive of Growth at Tamkeen, highlighted the positive impact of Tamkeen’s support for Bahraini employees at YK Almoayyed & Sons, noting that it aligns with Tamkeen’s goal of developing national talent in the private sector. He emphasised that by enhancing their practical skills, employees gain better opportunities in the labour market, leading to career advancement through salary increases and promotions.
He also commended the company’s effective use of Tamkeen’s employment and career development programmes to address employees’ evolving needs. He noted that these initiatives have played a key role in supporting the professional growth of Bahraini employees within the company.
