His Majesty King Hamad has praised the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) for its efforts in providing aid, supporting development projects and assisting orphans and widows across the kingdom.
The King, who is also the RHF Honorary President, acknowledged the foundation’s landmark achievements and international recognition, highlighting Bahrain’s deep-rooted culture of charity and humanitarian work.
He made the remarks yesterday as he received his representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and RHF board of trustees chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, along with RHF officials at Sakhir Palace.
His Majesty outlined RHF’s institutional development, partnerships with international humanitarian organisations, and commitment to enhancing operational standards.
He emphasised its dedication to supporting orphans and ensuring their success through education and empowerment.
The King wished RHF continued success in enhancing its services and humanitarian initiatives.
The foundation’s officials expressed their gratitude to His Majesty for supporting orphans and widows and praised his commitment to humanitarian efforts and the development of RHF to provide the best possible services to those in need in the kingdom.
RHF secretary-general Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa delivered a speech, extending Ramadan greetings to His Majesty and congratulating him on the Silver Jubilee of His Accession and the anniversary of the National Action Charter.
He emphasised RHF’s role as a product of His Majesty’s reform initiatives, which prioritise citizens’ well-being.
Shaikh Ali presented RHF’s annual report to the King.
Student Maryam Abdulla Al Ruwaie delivered a message of gratitude, praising the King’s leadership and RHF’s role in supporting orphans. She expressed appreciation for Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s guidance and encouragement, noting that his positive influence motivates young people to strive for success and contribute to the nation’s development.
Shaikh Nasser thanked His Majesty for his continued support for RHF and its beneficiaries over the past 24 years.
He emphasised the foundation’s commitment to the King’s directives, ensuring it continues to empower individuals and enhance humanitarian efforts locally and internationally.
Shaikh Nasser expressed hope that RHF’s work would remain a lasting legacy of His Majesty’s vision.
