His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has reaffirmed deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and the UAE, grounded in a solid foundation of understanding and shared stances over the years.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi yesterday.
He conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad to President Shaikh Mohammed, along with best wishes of continued progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.
The UAE President welcomed HRH Prince Salman to the UAE, emphasising the strength of Bahrain-UAE relations and the mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral ties.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated mutual commitment to further strengthening the Bahrain-UAE strategic partnership, supported by His Majesty and President Shaikh Mohammed.
He highlighted the strength of multisectoral collaboration, which is underpinned by a longstanding partnership.
HRH Prince Salman and President Shaikh Mohammed exchanged Ramadan greetings and well wishes of continued progress and prosperity for their nations, as well as for the wider Arab and Islamic world.
The two leaders discussed the latest regional and international developments and explored ways for further engagement between both countries to foster regional and global peace and stability.
HRH Prince Salman later attended an Iftar banquet hosted by the UAE President in honour of him and the accompanying delegation.
Earlier yesterday, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was welcomed at Al Bateen Executive Airport by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Shaikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He was accompanied by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki, and several senior officials.
