Benefit, the national electronic financial transactions operator and fintech innovator, has announced a series of promotions across its departments.
The company said the move was part of its commitment to workforce development and supporting Bahrain’s economic localisation goals.
The senior appointments announced include Hessa Hussain being named deputy chief executive of the Bahrain Credit Reference Bureau and Data Services.
Reyadh AlMearaj has been appointed chief information officer, while Nezar Maroof takes on the role of chief marketing and corporate communication officer.
Furthermore, Latifa AlMutawa has been promoted to assistant general manager of the Bahrain Credit Reference Bureau.
Further promotions have been made across other departments.
Benefit’s chief executive Abdulwahed AlJanahi congratulated the staff, highlighting their contribution to the company’s success. He emphasised the firm’s 93.6 per cent Bahrainisation rate, noting its focus on developing local talent.
“We take pride in recognising the achievements of our team,” Mr AlJanahi said.
The company said its workforce development strategy includes ongoing training and professional development.
Ms Hussain has 20 years of experience in credit information and digital leadership, while Mr AlMearaj has 26 years in information technology. Mr Maroof brings 25 years of experience in IT strategy and digital initiatives while Ms AlMutawa has 19 years of experience in risk management and banking.
