The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has announced its support for Ibn Al Nafees Hospital, providing wage increments for 55 employees and facilitating the employment of 34 Bahraini nationals across various specialisations.
This initiative aligns with Tamkeen’s strategic priorities for 2025, which focus on enhancing the competitiveness of Bahraini talent in the private sector, equipping them with necessary skills for career development, and promoting enterprise growth, digitisation, and sustainability.
Tamkeen’s chief growth officer Khalid Al Bayat emphasised that this support aims to enhance employment opportunities and career progression for Bahrainis across all industries, particularly within the healthcare sector.
“The healthcare sector offers significant opportunities for qualified Bahraini professionals,” said Mr Al Bayat. “Our support for Ibn Al Nafees Hospital contributes to increasing Bahraini presence in this vital sector by supporting wage increments and facilitating new hires.”
Mohammed Al Aali, director of human resources and training at Ibn Al Nafees Hospital, reiterated the hospital’s commitment to increasing Bahrainisation levels and acknowledged the high calibre of local talent.
“Tamkeen’s support will significantly impact the recruitment and promotion of Bahraini professionals, ultimately enhancing the quality of services we provide to our patients,” stated Mr Al Aali.
Ibn Al Nafees Hospital, a leading healthcare provider established in 2001, offers a wide range of specialised clinics covering over 28 medical specialties.
Tamkeen has launched numerous programmes to support the employment and career development of Bahraini talent, aiming to make them the preferred choice for private sector employment and positioning the private sector as the primary driver of economic growth in the kingdom.
