Following the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to open, renovate and restore 40 mosques under the Sunni and Jaafari endowments across all governorates of Bahrain as part of the mosque development plan, Jaafari Endowments Council chairman Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh inaugurated Imam Hassan Mosque in Al Qaryah.
Mr Al Saleh highlighted the kingdom’s commitment to maintaining mosques, praising the support of His Majesty King Hamad and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He also commended the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry for overseeing mosque development.
The mosque accommodates more than 500 worshipers and includes all essential facilities.
