The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) is calling on all institutions, ministries, companies and individuals in Bahrain to take part in Earth Hour by turning off unnecessary lights and electrical devices on Saturday (March 22) from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.
This initiative aims to support global efforts to combat climate change and protect the environment.
EWA encourages all organisations and individuals to engage in the initiative and help raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation and efficiency, reinforcing Bahrain’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
Earth Hour is one of the world’s largest environmental campaigns, uniting hundreds of cities across the globe to highlight the need for sustainable actions, protect natural resources and reduce carbon footprint.
