The ‘Citizen Account Programme’, as announced by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, will provide direct cash support for the citizens, including subsidies for fuel, electricity and water.
The initiative seeks to enhance purchasing power, especially for low-income families, while also improving subsidy efficiency through a unified administrative system.
