Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi has received the 2025 Leadership in Tourism Award from Arab Tourism Organisation president Dr Bandar bin Fahd Al Fuhaid, during his visit to Bahrain.
The award is in recognition of Bahrain’s progress in the tourism sector and its positive broad impact on Arab tourism.
The minister highlighted that the kingdom continues to enhance its position on the regional and international tourism map.
She expressed her appreciation to the Arab Tourism Organisation for the award, emphasising Bahrain’s commitment to working closely with Arab countries to enhance tourism co-operation and launch joint initiatives to promote the GCC and the Arab region as a unified tourist destination.
