Within less than 24 hours of a video circulating on social media, a 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of intentionally crashing his car into a pedestrian, the police announced.
The victim suffered fractures in his feet and had to be admitted to hospital.
The Northern Governorate Police Directorate said the deliberate act was the result of a ‘personal dispute’ between the accused and the 45-year-old victim.
Legal measures are underway and the case is being referred to the Public Prosecution.
